Braque du Bourbonnais Dog Breeders

N LITTER

PARENTS : JJ and Brock
WELPED : 07/12/2009

JJ's x-ray showed she would deliver 5 pups and the Vet said they were big ones.  We would soon find out exactly how BIG!  She struggled for 3 hours to deliver her first pup and I became very concerned.  My feeling was that she couldn't deliver it because it was too big.  I called the Vet at 3:30 AM and headed for the clinic.  He looked at her and began setting up for a C Section.

I was sitting on the floor with her when I saw the first puppy.  The Vet quickly put her on the table and he told me not to expect too much because the pup had been in the birth canal for too long.  She delivered a still born male.  We discussed what to do but both agreed that she could not deliver the remaining pups.  Within 15 minutes the pups were delivered and she had 4 beautiful BIG pups, 3 males and 1 female.  She is truly a caring, loving mom and the markings on her pups are gorgeous!.

Cactus Country Napolean

Napolean will be a Tucson dog and is going to the most awesome Vet.  He has taken care of our dogs for over 2 years and has watched our love for this breed.

He thinks JJ is the best and has waited a year for his Braque du Bourbonnais.  He sees so many dogs and we feel honored that he chose a JJ puppy.  Ok, he thinks Brock is really special too.  At 9 years old Brock is a match for any 2 year old stud dog!.

Cactus Country Nico

Nico is joining his hunting family in Phoenix.  It's interesting but all 4 JJ pups will be in Arizona homes.  They also found us when looking for a hunting dog and made a visit.  The rest is history.

Nico is the only fawn in the litter and has beautiful markings.  He'll continue to get his ticking.  He is so sweet and loving and is going to make a wonderful hunting companion for his family.!

Cactus Country Nitro

Nitro is not going far to get to his hunting home.  His family lives about a mile away from us and stumbled on us when looking for a new hunting companion.

They have had the luxury of visiting often because they are so close and have really bonded with their new puppy.  They are a wonderful family and Nitro will have 2 boys to keep him busy!
